Facebook went down on August 1st, 2014

fb down

Facebook went down around 11:50 A.M. OR  10:11 P.M. (GMT +5:45) on august 1st. It went down and came back and again went down redirecting its user to this landing page where it clearly states that: Something went wrong.  A lot of users across the countries were affected, however some were still able to access the site.

People are also complaining that facebook is running slow for them. It has been a while when it went down and when it came back people begun experiencing their account of facebook running slow. No any appropriate reasons are stated by Facebook Official however it is rumored that there had been some configuration error in the database or because of malicious attack.

Was it because of a malicious attack?? or was it a configuration or some kind of fb error??

Still more news to come. Stay Tuned.
